EduAdmin Add-Ons

In addition to the 16 core modules, several add-ons also form part of EduAdmin. Generally, these add-ons are "scaled-down" versions of a particular module, offering limited functionality to general staff. All functionality included in the add-ons is also included in the full modules. Most add-ons are separate security areas which means that access can be controlled in the same was as the full modules.

This add-on provides access to merit and demerit data and medical information only. Staff or prefects could have access to this module. They would not be able to see any of the other data stored in the Counseling Module.

This add-on allows staff to enter Extra-Curricular Comments without requiring access to the full ECA Module.

This add-on allows staff to enter marks, components and comments without requiring access to the full Assessment Module.

This add-on provides full functionality for controlling issues and returns. Students, parents or other assistants would not require access to the full Library Module in order to man the issues and returns desk.

This add-on provides a powerful search engine to interrogate Library Items. It is a full Online Public Access Catalogue. No username and password are required to access this add-on, so students could easily be given access via a standard Windows shortcut.

This add-on allows for issuing of receipts. This can be done from any network point, so receipts do not necessarily need to be issued from a Financial Office. All receipts issued via this add-on are processed in a batch and will only be included in the full Financial Module data when a user with access to that module nominates to post the batch. All entries in the batch can be interrogated before the batch is posted.

This add-on provides control over outgoing SMS messages and would typically be run on the machine to which the SMS modem has been attached. SMS messages are sent in batches and this add-on allows for control of these batches. Batches can be interrogated, modified or deleted. The add-on also allows for automatic sending of SMS batches.

This add-on allows users to view or print timetables. Support is provided for student, class, staff and room timetables. No username and password are required to access this add-on.

Not strictly an add-on, this program is used to synchronize the workstation with the latest release of the software on the server.

Not strictly an add-on, this program allows staff to enter marks, components and comments at home. This data can then be returned to school and posted back onto the Assessment Module database.
